CONTEST: Golden Geek Memes!

As you may know, Flip the Table was nominated for a Golden Geek award for Best Podcast! Not too shabby! And voting is open right now if you want to show your support!

In order to win it, though, we've got to get the word out! So we've cooked up a contest where, by using the power of Twitter, we can stir up support and get enough ironic joke votes to maybe steal this thing! All you have to do is make a cool meme and share it for a chance to win!

What kind of meme? You could do the old white text on a funny picture, a fake motivational poster, that one where the person rolls a 1 and fails, the possibilities are endless! (Just keep it clean, huh?) The most important thing is that your meme encourages people to vote for FTT in this year's Golden Geeks! And if you happen to make our favorite one, you could win this...

...that's right, a HAND-CRAFTED "McRibbage" board made by our own Favorite Party Clown Flip Florey! So how do you win? Here are the rules...

RULES (Updated 3/13/2016)

1. Make a meme encouraging people to vote for Flip the Table in the Golden Geeks and post it on Twitter with the hashtag #FTTforGoldenGeek, OR, post your meme on our Facebook group, OR, post it in our BGG guild! When sharing on social media, it's helpful if you post the link to the voting website, but not required.

2. Feel free to go through the many pictures on this blog to find raw material. If you're a member of our Facebook group or follow us on Twitter, you may find even more material to use!

3. DEADLINE: You have until Midnight EST on Friday, March 18th to get your entry in. Enter with as many unique entries as you like! Entries after the deadline will not be considered.

4. The Flip the Table Panel will choose a favorite some time after the end of the contest and send the winner their very own McRibbage board!

5. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited. We reserve the right to disqualify entrants for using non-family friendly material.

Simple stuff, right? Get those memes in, and don't forget to cast your vote! May the best meme win!
