Episode 73: America's Funniest Home Videos

Before there was a YouTube, and we had ready access to people injuring themselves from all over the world 24 hours a day, America relied upon network television to deliver a weekly dose of poorly shot fail videos. This week we're playing the America's Funniest Home Videos VCR game, where players test their memory, creativity, and social savvy while watching hundreds of the "funniest" video clips the 1990s had to offer. Can the panel successfully remember minute details of blurry, VHS quality clips? Will Bob Saget's running commentary provide any assistance? Plus, we go shopping in this week's Battle of Wits...

From the desk of Your Moderator, Chris...

Artist's Rendering of Your Moderator...

Hi, everyone! Just a quick note to let everyone know that I'll be a little harder to find over the next six weeks. My wife is undergoing knee surgery, and that means I'll be busy caring for her and for our newborn as she rehabs and recovers. Some of you already know this, and we both appreciate all of your well wishes thus far.

That said, the show will go on as usual. I have our next two episodes about 95% complete, save the few final touches I add just before they go out. So you won't miss our usual wacky hijinx. However, I will be less present on our social media, and I'll have to put any business inquiries (such as donation requests, interview requests, and other such email) on the back burner for a while. If you get "10,000 points," this may also take some additional time for delivery as I'll have to farm that out to my fellow panelists to send out. Thanks ahead of time for your patience.

I'll still be checking in on Facebook, Twitter, and BGG from time to time, and the remaining panel will be around to say "Hello." I encourage all of you to keep the conversation going on our social media, as the Flipster community are some of the most entertaining people to talk to! I look forward to reading your comments on our forthcoming episodes.

BANCE,
-YMC
